Little Letters (0-2 Years Room) - Opened September 2024

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Room Leader: Claire       Nursery Practitioners - Ellece and Katie

 

We are a room specifically for children aged 6 months to 2 years. There is a currently a maximum of 9 children in the room at any one session.
We offer a variety of sessions ranging from 4 to 9 hour sessions.

If you are a working family working 16 hours or over per week you could be eligible for 15 hours per week, increasing to 30 hours in September 2025 for babies over 9 months. 

 

Little Letters Routine

We heavily follow your child's routine in this room especially when it comes to rest time. We have an in depth information and routine pack that we will ask you to complete before your child attends. We have a large variety of resources offer for this age group covering all the stages of development from non walkers, to cruisers to toddlers. 

We understand that care and nurture is vital within this room and we ensure to dedicate our attachment, security and knowledge of child development within our practice. 

We have a separate semi covered area in the garden that the children have regular access to with a range of balance equipment role play resources, reading area, as well as a cosy corner for children who are not yet mobile.


Stomping Stamps (2-3 Years Room)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Room Leader: Mandy   Nursery Practitioners - Sharise, Lucy and Imogen

 

We are a room specifically for children aged 2-3 years old. There is a maximum of 16 children in the room at any one session.
We offer a variety of sessions ranging from 4 to 9 hour sessions.

We carry out integrated two year reviews checks alongside our local health visiting team.

We also offer 2 types of government funding in this room. 

If you are a working family working 16 hours or over per week you could be eligible for 15 hours per week, increasing to 30 hours in September 2025. 

If you are not working or receive a level of government support such as universal credit or income support you could also be eligible for 15 hours funding per week. - The term after your child turns 2. 

 

Stomping Stamps Routine

From the time the children enter our room we encourage free flow play, both indoors and out, through child led activities. However, to ensure that all children meet their developmental goals we do plan for their activities through adult led and adult initiated activities. This helps us to work on their next steps and track their progress along the way.

We have nursery snack at 10am and 4pm and lunch at 12:30pm

Room Leader: Michelle        Nursery Practitioners - Kim, Atlanta and Holly

 

We are a room specifically for children aged 3-4 years old. There is a maximum of 24 children in the room at any one session.
We offer a variety of sessions ranging from 4 to 9 hour sessions.

We focus a lot on independence in this room and school readiness. We have excellent links with our local primary schools ensuring each child has a smooth transition.

All children in this room receive a minimum of 15 hours government funding per week.

If you are a working family working 16 hours or over per week you could be eligible for 30 hours per week.

 

 

Popping Parcels Routine

We encourage children to make independent choices in this room with the activities they choose, whether to be inside or outside and when they feel they would like snack as it is on offer all morning for them to access when they want to, without interrupting their learning through play.  However, to ensure that all children meet their developmental goals we do plan for their activities through adult led and adult initiated activities. This helps us to work on their next steps and track their progress along the way. School readiness is key to this room, so they are confident and ready for their next stage at primary school.

We have nursery snack at 10am and 4pm and lunch at 12:30pm
