This can be added onto a morning or afternoon session.

You can decide which sessions you would like your child to attend and how you wish to use your funding (subject to availability).

Funding

9+ Months Funding

From September 2024 children the term after they are 9 months old can claim up to 15 hours free government funding per week if they are from a working family. If you are a two parent family you both have to work a minimum of 16 hours per week or earn a minimum of 16 hours per week at national minimum wage. If you are a single parent the same criteria applies. 

 

Two Year Funding for your Child

Working Families: 

You can claim up to 15 hours free government funding per week if the child is from a working family. If you are a two parent family you both have to work a minimum of 16 hours per week or earn a minimum of 16 hours per week at national minimum wage. If you are a single parent the same criteria applies. This increases to 30 hours in September 2025.

Non Working Families or Families receiving income support or government benefit such as universal credit:

You can claim up to 15 hours per week the term after your child turns 2. 

 

3-4 Year Olds

All children receive 15 hours of free government childcare the term after they turn 3.

 

30 Hours Funding 3-4 year olds

If you are a working family you may be entitled to an additional 15 hours funding on top of the universal 15 hours funding.

If you are a two parent family you both have to work a minimum of 16 hours per week or earn a minimum of 16 hours per week at national minimum wage. If you are a single parent the same criteria applies.
