Mission Statement

We provide a rich learning environment, with an abundance of opportunities and continuously ensure that children have free flow access to both indoor and outdoor areas.

Children are made to feel safe and valued, allowing them to move forward and successfully reach their full potential. We view each child as unique, they have their own talents and interests, so they grow to become active learners, irrespective of their ability and background. Our team work together, with families and professionals, to meet each child’s individual needs. We continuously remain open and receptive to any suggestions for improvement.

Ofsted Inspection

Letterbox Day Nursery was inspected by Ofsted in April 2023 and the outcome was very positive. We were rated as an 'OUTSTANDING’ setting.

Some key highlights from the report:-

• Children thrive in this exceptionally friendly and inclusive nursery.
• Children learn an outstadning range of skills that will help to prepare them for their next stages in learning and their move to school.
• Staff develop children's knowledge and skills from their different starting points.
• Staff's high quality interactions build on children's speech and language, helping them to become highly effective communicators.
• Staff value the important role that parents play in supporting children's development and involve them fully in their children's learning. They provide delightful activity bags that provide parents with ideas on how to support their children's learning at home.

We are so proud of our ‘OUTSTANDING’ rating and are happy for any feedback or suggestions in which will help us to improve and grow.
